About Susan Foust

Growing up as an Army brat, Susan Foust lived in many exciting places around the world. And as an educator, Susan always wants to expand her students' horizons with a desire to visit faraway places through the power of a great book and well-drawn map. Isle of Tatsu is Susan Foust's debut novel. She lives near Charlotte, North Carolina with her family and a clever Australian Shepherd who has them all well-trained. 

Readers who enjoy Matt and Sam's adventures will be glad to learn that the brothers' adventures continue with Susan's latest book in progress, tentatively titled "The Bone Hunters". The two boys travel to southern Australia to join their uncle and cousin on a dinosaur dig. The excavation of a rare fossil is halted when Matt and Mandy (Matt's cousin) disappear. The search party soon discovers there's much more to their untimely disappearance.
